DJEP Seminars at Mobile Beat Las Vegas 2011


DJ Event Planner will have our own room at the Riviera during the Mobile Beat DJ Convention. This will allow us to offer special training for our current users and opportunities for new users to find out more about the software.

We will have speakers presenting a variety of topics. There will be a free wi-fi signal, so bring your laptops and work right along with our presenters. The demo room is located right across from the main seminar doors. Here's the lineup:

 
Tuesday, February 1st, 2011

    * 11:00 am - Email Follow-Up: How To Get It Read (Mitch Taylor) - How can you ensure your emails are read? How to KNOW if your email was read or not? How to know if it's working? What kinds of information should you follow up with? Mitch Taylor has been an avid advocate for DJ Event Planner ever since making the switch from a competing product over 3 years ago. Mitch is a member of WEDGuild and will also present Creative Consultations here at Mobile Beat Las Vegas Thursday morning at 10:00am.
    * 12:00 pm - Day To Day DJEP (Dean Carlson) - This seminar will feature the everyday uses of the software for the sales process. Dean Carlson is the owner of Night Magic productions out of the St Paul Minnesota. His experience includes 23 years of DJing and running a multi-op company with over 25 DJs.
    * 1:00 pm - Sell In Your Sleep (Justin and Anna-Jeannine Herman) - Using the custom email server to better track email communication, how to set up an email campaign, email templates, and scheduled automated emails.
    * 2:00 pm - Keeping Your Finances In Order (Tony Hernandez) - With the help of DJEP you can keep your finances in order. Covering the payroll, expenses, and deposit features of the system, this seminar will cover the book-keeping side of things. Tony Hernandez is from South Florida and has major market radio, club, and mobile dj experience. He's mixed a variety of formats of music and has been the main Mixer and Street Team Promotion King with Power 96 for over 15 years.
    * 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm - Show Floor is open and the room is open for pre-sales walk-ins

    * 9:00 am - Getting Set Up (Scott Christie) - Running DJEP from the beginning to over 300 events in one year. Creating marketing, and business forms and solutions using DJEP and its html editor. Scott Christie is the owner of Garry Robertson DJ Entertainment in Vancouver, BC Canada. His experience includes 22 years as a mobile wedding DJ and running Vancouver's largest multi-op companies.
    * 10:00 am - Latest Trends In Search Engine Optimization (Andrew McCarron) Get the top native search engine results for Google and Bing. Andrew McCarron is a DJEP user from Brisbane, Australia where he has been rated the "Best Brisbane Based DJ Service" by the Australian Bridal Industry Academy.
    * 2:30 pm - Introduction To DJEP (Troy Ackerman) This seminar is for anyone that wants to learn more about DJ Event Planner and is not a current user. We will cover the 3 key features of the software.
    * 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm - Show Floor is open and the room is open for pre-sales walk-ins

    * 9:00 am - Google Apps Integration of DJEP (Jason Spencer) - Learn tips for getting the most out of DJEP using Google's array of web applications. Jason Spencer is technical support for DJEP. At 16 years experience, he's worked with a multi-op and currently runs his own solo entertainment company in Santa Clara, California.
    * 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Show Floor is open and the room is open for pre-sales walk-ins
